More than just a piece of furniture, it's a focal point that connects the kitchen, dining room, and study. It takes advantage of the double-height space while becoming the centerpiece of the room.
An open space but with privacy
The upper floor was the darkest and most deteriorated area of the house. We opened it up completely and added skylights in strategic locations to bring natural light to the heart of the space. The result is a bright and airy space.

A piece of furniture that integrates storage for seasonal clothing, doubles as a headboard, and creates a place for Nina's sand collection.
We took advantage of an existing column to organize the space, keeping the kitchen open but incorporating an out of sight pantry that integrates everyday appliances and allows the countertop to remain clear during the day.
The essentials at hand, but out of sight.
Towards the workshop space, it functions as a library, with books, zines, and magazines readily available. Towards the print area, it houses the storage for risograph drums, integrating the technical aspects into the studio's daily operations.

In a small space, maximizing storage was essential. We cover the sink drawers with the same tile to extend the furniture into the shower.
