form 48 m² to a 60 m² home
A home designed for cooking with friends, listening to music while working, and allowing everyday routines to unfold naturally.
In a small double-height studio, the challenge was to make a complete life possible within a limited space. We used every corner to integrate storage and multiple functions, creating a flexible home that can adapt to different ways of living over time.

Storage, favorite items, bar, music and books all in one piece of furniture.
More than just a piece of furniture, it's a work of art that connects the kitchen, dining room, and study. With its simple lines, it transforms depending on the moment: a place to choose a record, prepare a drink, or store items that don't need to be constantly visible.
Where there was once only a staircase, we made the most of every centimeter to create a space that can adapt to different situations. The unit integrates the dining area, the record collection, a small bar, and much of the home's storage as possible, making it possible to accommodate up to eight people around the table.
The staircase is much more than just a way to access the upper floor. It incorporates storage and becomes an additional seating area. Located next to the window, it creates a small platform from which to enjoy the sun or simply pause for a moment.
Cooking with friends was a priority. The kitchen needed to feel spacious, but also have its own identity within a completely open space. A low wall subtly separates it from the living room: it conceals the work area without disrupting conversation or the connection between the two spaces.
Where the kitchen used to be, we've concentrated the day-to-day functions. The bathroom, laundry room, and dressing room, all connected to the shower so that daily routines happen naturally and without unnecessary movement.
The bedroom is in the quietest and darkest corner of the house, freeing up the rest of the floor plan for daily living. The original beams and columns define this space, taking advantage of the double-height ceiling without sacrificing space.
